Faith and Practice
As a congregation in the Presbyterian tradition, Redeemer OPC holds to the threefold summary of doctrine known as "The Westminster Standards." These documents were composed between 1642 and 1648 by the Westminster Assembly, a gathering of Puritan and Presbyterian theologians convened by the English Parliament. We believe these statements represent an excellent summary of Christian theology and are a faithful exposition of what the Bible teaches. Though entire agreement with these statements is not necessary for membership at Redeemer OPC, it is a requirement that all officers of our church "receive and adopt the Confession of Faith and Catechisms of this church as containing the system of doctrine taught in the Holy Scriptures."
The Westminster Confession of Faith
The Westminster Larger Catechism
The Westminster Shorter Catechism
Additionally, as a congregation which is part of the denomination The Orthodox Presbyterian Church, our church patterns its worship and life according to The Book of Church Order.
